Plan
The planning phase was one of the phases that I think that I struggled on the most since I did not know how long it would take me to do certain things with the tools. I made a chart on a Microsoft word document explaining which steps I would do, when, during my process. Something that I did wrong about this phase was that I gave a lower amount of time for most tasks than it actually took me to do them. Since I had not cut out a circle from wood before I assumed that t would take me about a period to do, but it took me longer, and I had only put aside fifteen minutes for filing and sanding with glass paper but since it was my first time cutting out a circle, and it did not look as good as I had hoped it would, I had to take a longer time filing so that the clock could have a proper round shape. I think that I included many pictures in this phase, and that the pictures look good and really bring the action to life, showing what tools and techniques that I would use. One of the biggest problems I had with my plan later on was that I was not able to follow it since I missed quite a few class periods. If I had not missed that much I think that my plan would have been effective, and easy to use as a guide. I think that my plan was well explain and it would be equally as easy for someone else, who knew nothing about my clock to come and build it as well.
